1) What is the preferred reading of a media text?


 The preferred reading of the media text is that teenagers are shown as dangerous,violent,cause havoc and ruin other peoples lives so they don't enjoy the life there going with right now that they have,so that's why they are shown as like that in the clip so they want us to know that teenagers are dangerous. 

2) What is the oppositional reading of a media text?


 the oppositional reading of a media text is that they are good people and they do good stuff like help people and other related stuff so in general they are good people in oppositional reading side of the text and sometimes they could be dragged into gang related stuff either because of there cousins and relatives or friends.

3) How does the Harry Brown trailer position the audience to respond to the teenage characters in the film?


 The trailer positions the teenagers as dangerous,violent, to cause havoc and to ruin other peoples lives so they don't have a good happy or a nice life,but some teenagers are hard working and smart also they are not in gangs unlike some of them.The unlucky teenagers get dragged into mayhem and trouble and gangs etc.

4) Why might young people reject this reading and construct an oppositional reading of the trailer?


 Young people might reject this reading and construct an oppositional reading of the trailer might because they probably haven't seen the other side of the teenagers and see there good side for the bad teenagers  they got dragged into gang related stuff even tho they didn't wanted to be in a gang or anything related to bad actions.


5) Write a 150+ word analysis of the McDonald's advert using preferred, negotiated and oppositional readings.

 The preferred reading of the media text is that this delicious burger is shown as juicy and wanted burger so the producer can make money out of it and then can make more for more money and the producer keeps doing that until he can make another delicious item or an item that could be useful in life and could make profit for the producer.The oppositional reading of this media text is that
