Rohzeb GCSE Media blog feedback – Audience Essay feedback  (December 2019):

Rohzeb, your contributions in lessons are very limited. I want to see you contributing more when we come back in 2020. You also need to work on using more media terminology in your blog tasks.
WWW:
·         Some ability to comment on the three traditional types of media industries e.g. music, film and television and print and how the internet has impacted these.
·         Some good vocabulary used – ‘socialism’, ‘consumers’ and ‘fake news’.
EBI:
·         Lacking literacy in your writing e.g. poor written English and grammatical errors.
·         Some advantages and disadvantages that you have stated are not accurate.
LR:
·         Check SPaG throughout essay.
·         In your introduction, you should mention the general advantages that the internet has had on audiences. For the disadvantages, you need to mention some general disadvantages for the producers.
·         For your music industry paragraph, mention another advantages for audiences and for your disadvantage use more higher-level vocabulary – ‘illegal downloading’, ‘loss in profits’, etc.
·         For your film/industry paragraph, make it very clear how the illegal downloading of movies is bad for producers.

3) What was your strongest paragraph? Why do you think it was better than others?

 Newspaper industry paragraph is the most strongest paragraph because i used good vocabulary and also i used some media terminology.

4) What was your weakest paragraph? Why do you think it wasn't as good as others?

My first paragraph was the worst because i didn't use media terminology and also i barely used any vocabulary.
5) How can you improve your extended writing in GCSE Media Studies in future?

I can improve it by using media terminology and high level vocab and improve on my SPaG.

6) Write ONE thing you have learned about the internet, audience and industry from completing this essay.

i learnt fake news can look so real and i should be more careful of what i am watching and see if its real or fake also i learnt that there are apps where you can watch free movies but i need to be more careful because i could get into a lot of trouble if i am using wrong apps especially those apps where they offer free movies to watch,there are apps where you can read the newspapers on and watch news on your smart phone which means you can watch news anywhere.As many people believe everything they see on screen,its easier to spread lies and wrong information.
