Mise-en-scene: Stranger Things

                        Mise-en-scene Stranger Things analysis

Lighting:

Dark,gloomy,neon green,midnight,foggy.

The neon green light in the beginning of stranger things suggested that there would be some kind of monster or a bad person popping out of somewhere this creates tension and then scares the audience a lot also there was a foggy forest which probable where the ghost was waiting for the boy to come and then scare him or kill him.

Actions/Actors:

Running,riding bike,6 males,2 females,shouting.

The running and riding suggests that they were running from something nonhuman like and also they suggests that they were riding home quickly because they didn't want something scary to happen to them also there was 1 male running away from the ghost.

Props:

Game board,rock sacks,bike,shotgun,bullets,pizza box,light on bike,dog

The shot gun bullets and the shot gun both suggests that the boy picked it up and tried to defend him self with it because he had either nothing else next to him or that was the only thing he new how to use against the nonhuman like thing/monster also the dog showed to the audience that it was either trying to protect the boy or act like its brave.
